Shawn is starting his 7th season and as one of the founding members of Valley Sand and has been instrumental in building our club into a successful training program.
Shawn has been competing at the highest levels since 2000. He maintained his AAA pro rating with the CBVA up until a couple years ago. Some highlights are winning the Santa Cruz Open in 2014 and competing in some AVP Next events over the years.
Having competed in professional sand volleyball for years we are lucky to have his professional experience and positive approach to coaching. He instructs with a lot of passion and feedback for the kids to push them to become better all around players.
He has been instrumental in helping our players not only get to the collegiate level but become key players for their programs.
